Portable Traffic Lights are typically unattended and distributed over a wide geographic area. Asset managers face the task of knowing the location of each unit and ensuring that it is operating properly. The lights must also be protected against theft and abuse.

The Mobile Traffic Sign Telemetry Solution:
FleetSignal is a web-based, wireless solution for managing Portable Traffic Signals. It can manage any make or model of Portable Traffic Signal, and it easily supports hybrid fleets.
The Ayantra solution, called FleetSignal, consists of:
- An Ayantra monitoring unit installed on the traffic light
- Ayantra-provided wireless communications to/from each remote unit
- An Ayantra-provided website to enable fleet managers collect Location Reports, Status Reports, and more.
Key Features:
- LOCATION REPORTS: FleetSignal automatically reports the location of each portable traffic light, and displays the locations on a map.
- ALERTS and ALARMS: FleetSignal monitors the status of each portable traffic light and provides Alert Notifications for:
- Fault – FleetSignal can monitor discrete alarm inputs and generate Alert Notifications as specified by the user
- Low Battery / Battery Tamper – FleetSignal will automatically issue a Low Battery Alert Notification if the battery level falls below certain thresholds; and it will issue a Battery Tamper Notification if the battery is disconnected.
- GeoFence Violation – should any portable traffic signal move beyond a user-specified boundary, FleetSignal will report a GeoFence Violation. Each GeoFence Violation will cause the system to note the signal's current location, begin tracking its movements, and send Alert Notifications to the targeted recipients.
- Curfew Violations – should any signal be moved or operated at an inappropriate time, FleetSignal will report a Curfew Violation. Each Curfew Violation will cause the system to note the signal's current location, begin tracking its movements, and send Alert Notifications to the targeted recipients.
- REAL-TIME UPDATES: Authorized users can "ping" the monitoring unit on any portable traffic signal at any time to collect its up-to-the-minute Location info and other metrics.
- JOBSITE REPORTING: Authorized users can specify up to 100 "Jobsites" and ascertain when each portable traffic signal approaches and/or departs each "Jobsite."
- MAINTENANCE REPORTS / REMINDERS: FleetSignal automatically issues "Maintenance Due" reminders when each portable traffic signal requires maintenance. These reminders enable fleet managers to achieve optimal performance and extend the lifespan of each unit.
- POWERSAVE MODE: the monitoring unit utilizes intelligent power-saving capabilities to reduce power consumption.
- BACKUP BATTERY: the monitoring includes an integrated backup battery.
