The Challenge:
Many organizations operate small fleets of vehicles to provide deliveries and perform services. However, most currently available fleet monitoring solutions are targeted towards managing large fleets, and therefore are expensive and difficult to operate for small fleet managers. FleetSight provides an easy to use and cost-effective solution for small fleet managers.

The Solution:
FleetSight is a cost-effective solution that enables fleet managers to easily understand the location of their vehicles. The solution consists of:

• A monitoring unit - called the MAT 520F - installed inside the vehicle
• An Ayantra-provided website to deliver vehicle location reports, tracking reports, vehicle utilization information, maintenance reminders, vehicle history logs, and more.

Web Services and Alert Notifications :
All reports and alerts are accessible through a simple web interface. The latest report from each vehicle is immediately displayed upon login.

• Alert notifications are targeted to specific recipients according to the type of violation. Alert Notifications can be sent in the form of text messages to cell phones, and/or as email messages.
• The web interface allows you to manage your fleet. You can specify Authorized Users, target the Alert Notifications to specific recipients, define report intervals, and more.
• A History Log tracks and displays all communications to and from each vehicle.

Features & Benefits:

• Tracking Reports: FleetSight reports each time the vehicle’s engine is turned ON or OFF, and it sends Tracking Reports every ten minutes whenever the vehicle’s engine is running. You can easily view two types of Tracking Reports:
  • Current – shows where the vehicles are located NOW
  • Historical – shows where the vehicles have been in the past
• Status Info:  each Tracking Report indicates if the vehicle is in motion, or merely idling
• Real-Time Updates: You can “ping” any vehicle at any time to collect its current Location info and other metrics.
• Jobsite Reporting: You can specify up to 100 “Jobsites” and ascertain when each vehicle approaches and/or departs each “Jobsite.” Examples of “Jobsites” might include:
  • Office Locations and Customer Locations
  • Warehouses and Depots
  • Jobsites, Construction Sites, Farms or Fields
  • Service Stations, repair facilities, gas stations, etc.
  • A person’s home or office
• Mileage Reports: FleetSight provides mileage reports to reduce costs (via more accurate expense reports) and improve maintenance.
• Maintenance Reports / Reminders: FleetSight automatically issues “Maintenance Due” reminders to advise you of any scheduled maintenance activities. These reminders help you to achieve optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your assets.
• Alerts and Alarms: FleetSight provides real-time Alert Notifications for:
  • Speed Violations – you can set a speed threshold for each vehicle, and be notified if any vehicle exceeds its threshold
  • Curfew Violations – should the vehicle be moved or operated at an inappropriate time, FleetSight will detect a Curfew Violation. Each Curfew Violation will cause the system to note the vehicle’s current location, begin tracking its movements, and send Alert Notifications to you.
  • GeoFence Violation – Should the vehicle cross the perimeter boundary, FleetSight will detect a GeoFence Violation, causing the system to note the vehicle’s current location, begin tracking its movements, and send Alert Notifications to you.
  • Low Battery / Battery Tamper notifications – the MAT 520F will monitor your vehicle’s battery level. FleetSight will issue a Low Battery Alert Notification if the battery level falls below certain thresholds; and it will issue a Battery Tamper Notification if the battery is disconnected.
• PowerSave Mode: the MAT 520F utilizes intelligent power-saving capabilities to reduce power consumption.
• Back-up Battery: the MAT 520F includes an integrated backup battery.
